At 40 x 30 x 20 cm, the free bag is small, smaller than any of our standard cabin suitcases. Rather than trying to make a suitcase fit, our laptop backpacks and underseat luggage are built to this exact format, so you still get proper padded laptop storage and organised compartments, just in a shape that's designed for going under the seat rather than in the locker.
With Priority, you can bring a suitcase up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm. A few things to weigh up when choosing one:
Every Eminent suitcase, whichever size you choose, is built the same way: tested through 35 quality checks, fitted with a TSA-approved lock and smooth 360° spinner wheels as standard, and backed by a warranty of 3 to 7 years depending on the model.
Not a full-size one. The free allowance is a small bag, up to 40 x 30 x 20 cm, meant for a laptop bag or small backpack rather than a suitcase. A larger, wheeled cabin bag needs WIZZ Priority.
Yes. The 55 x 40 x 23 cm cabin bag allowance is only available once Priority has been added to your booking, and it isn't sold separately.
It's likely to be checked into the hold, usually with a fee. Wizz Air checks bags closely, including making sure wheels and handles don't add more than 5 cm to the size.
If you're travelling with WIZZ Priority, yes, it's a sensible choice. The 10 kg limit applies to that bag, so a lighter suitcase leaves more of the allowance for what you're actually bringing.
